Sam Neill tries to eat plastic bag to save sea life.

WHO:Sam Neill

WHERE:new zealand pacific ocean animals and other countries.

WHEN:Posted 22 of February 2018

WHY: to save sea life.

WHAT: On the article it says not much but Sam Neill had decided to join green peace to prove a point that plastic is bad. Sam did not actually eat the plastic bag just put it in his mouth and spat it back out he says it tastes bad which I'm not surprised as it is not food. In the video he says stuff about plastic like it is the master of disguise.

IN MY OPINION: I like how Sam Neill is thinking about the sea life and I'm glad he actually did not actually eat the plastic and just put it in his mouth to prove a point.

WONDERING: I wonder who thought of the idea and why Sam did it?

Plastic bag makers say their product isn't to blame for damaging the environment.

WHO:Plastic bag company & other people.

WHERE:  NZ

WHEN:August 15 2018

WHY: Because they can complain?

WHAT: A plastic company says lots of people are accusing the plastic bags of damaging the environment but the company does not agree they say it is our fault because we litter and we do not reuse. Ether way now since the false out plastic bags is put in place they now need to stop making plastic bags and the company does not seem happy about it.''People think it's so easy and they're all just thrown away. Then they're ending up in the sea and it's a 'plastic problem'' said the company. the company was thinking and thought that in there trolley while shopping there was too much plastic in there already from the plastic wrapping. The company had been operating since 1989, but would close at the end of the year so it has been going for 29 years.
"The days are numbered because the bags will be gone next year ... I'll tell the staff it's not my fault, it's the government policy." said a person in the business and i think it was the boss.

IN MY OPINION: I think the person who is always talking in this is trying to blame it only on us but it is them as well.

WONDERING: I wonder what the company has done all ready to stop making plastic bags.

The town has a population of about 3,500 people.Police didn't say how many hours were invested in the rescue, but the initial call for help came at 6:50 p.m. and photos where taken after sunset of them standing by the SUV with the freed snake."The reluctant reptile is alive and well, just tired and scared," said the police on Facebook.

Councils call for law change to make it easier punish people for littering.

Councils call for law change to make it easier punish people for littering.

WHO: Councils across the country

WHERE: Auckland and around the country.

WHEN: Published on the 26th of the 8th 2018.

WHY: To get more power so the people who litter have to pay the price.

WHAT:
Councils across the country want more power by being able to fine people for littering easier.
To make it easier it currently requires council officers to either observe a person littering which it would have to be in the act of being carried out, or had just been committed. Also No one likes finding a pile of rubbish dumped down a bank, in a green belt or behind a building.

IN MY OPINION:I like how the councils are taking action!

WONDERING:I wonder what will happen.

GLOSSARY: green belt-an area of open land around a city, on which building is restricted.
